Living things

1. Cell
A. History and Definition
Cell is the smallest unit of measure in living things. Cell is made of its organs which we call cell organelles . Cell was first discovered by Robert Hooke when he had invented the microscope and observed a cork's cell. He realized that the cork was made of many cells.

After Hooke's discovery was made into a report . Matthias schleiden and Schwann discovered animals and plants cell.

After scientist's had observed many kind of cell . Nowadays , we can learn them very easily.

B. Organ of a Cell
Cells are made of 7 organs in common and some additions for plants and animal cell.
The common 8 organs  are:
1. Nucleus
The nucleus is the brain of the cell it controls everything that happens in the cell.
The nucleus are made of :
A. Nucleoplasm
The liquid inside a nucleus

B. Nucleolus
Also called as little nucleus

C. Kromosome
A kind of very tiny string that contains genes

2. Sitoplasm
The liquid inside a cell,

3.cell membrane
A membrane that covers the cell and in animal cells control th object that leave and enter a cell

4. Reticulum endoplasm
An organelle that produces protein with the help of rybosom

5.golgy body
An organelle that changes the packages sent by the reticulum endoplasm into other form of chemical.

6.mitocondria
A cell organelle uses in producing energy and respiration

7.vacuole
The main food supply of a cell . It is bigger on plant cells and smaller on animal cells.

2.Tissues
Tissues are a group of cell of the same function that work together to do bigger work.

There are many kind of tissues , you can read them on my future release post : TISSUES.

3. Organ
Organ are group of tissues that have different function and work together to do bigger jobs

4.organ system
Organ system are group of different organ that work together. A organ system work is bigger than organ.

5. At last the combination of many system organs will form living things

Energy

Nowadays ,we do many things in our life and Everything we does requires energy .

Energy is something that we need to do work and activities. Energy can be grouped into some groups:

1. heat Energy
It is something we have always used to heat ourselves up and usually released by sources of light energy.

2.light Energy
Light energy is a type of energy that have given our eyes the ability to see . Light energy are found on things that give out light , and almost all of light energy sources also releases heat energy

3.Kinetic Energy
This is a kind of energy that is found on moving things or things that have velocity.mathematically we write as;

Kinetic Energy=0.5 x M x v x v

Where M is mass and v is velocity

4.electrical energy
A kind of energy that we use very much nowadays to power up our electronic things .

5.atomic energy
Energy that is stored within a thing's atom . If this energy is accumulated in big amount. It can create disastrous consequences if it isn't use correctly .e.g. Nuclear bomb.
Mathematically if all mass is about to turn into energy , we write it as:

Energy=MCC

Where M is mass and C is the speed of light.
That formula is created by Albert Einstein

6. Potential energy
An energy stored in a thing or an energy that is gained by things because of its position. Potential energy is divided into 3 large group:

A. Potential gravity energy
An energy stored by a thing because of its position, usually things that Is in higher position will have higher potential energy

B.potential chemical energy
An energy stored in things because the existence of chemical in that thing.

C.potential elastic energy
An energy stored in things because of their elasticity and how far they are stretched

That is all I can tell you. If you see any tense mistake or other mistakes , you may send it to jowillianto@gmail.com

Finally , I apologize for any problems and inconvenience cause by my writing and tenses

theory of relativity part 3

3. Lorentz Transformation
If you see a train with people inside walking with the same direction as the train. People may conclude that the total speed of the speed is equal to  people speed + train speed but actually it’s not that simple.(sorry i don't have the graph but just refer to the conclusion)

x=    (x'-yt ) x 𝜸
Z=Z                y=Y'                     𝜸=square root of 1-V square and C square

So the speed acquired Is
(v1+v2)𝜸

Lorentz length Contraction
Moving things look shorter but why? It’s because the light reflected by the thing is reflected by all part of things mainly things that is moving very fast . imagine sitting in a train with speed of  0.8 c so do you think you will see anything? The answer is yes or no, you can see the things inside by inside’s light but you can’t see things outside as no light can be reflected or arrive at your eye as you are relative to a train moving at 1c speed that makes all light that com to the train was dodged by the train because of its speed . Lorentz mathematically made this as

L=L0 x 𝜸

Theory of relativity part 2

A.    Causes of Different result
1.Time
The dilation of time is one of the cause of different results. But why?
If we make a clock with 2s= time needed for light to go up and down on the mirror with the range between them (300.000 km) which make 1s = time needed for it to go only up or down but when it comes to movement

The range that the like need to travel to get 1s become longer as it was inclinated so it could hit the next moving board . it was mathematically formulated as :

.t= t0  × 1/ lorentz ,  lorentz= 1/square root of 1-V square /C square where c square i the speed of light squared

In the equation C.C was used as a barrier to limit the v .v the square root are used because the V and C are squared. The 1 is to take the rest the speed doesn’t conquer.

2.Relativity
To continue to the next chapter we ned to learn about the relative stuff. WE are relative to the earth , earth are relative to the solar system , the solar system are relative to the milky way galaxy , the milky way are relative to the galaxy system. Etc.

special Theory Of Relativity Part 1

A. The core of special relativity

The special relativity suggest that observers that observe same kind of Objects may have different results because their observing ways or because of their position is different . (doesn’t work when position and way of seeing is the same)

From the statement above we can conclude that different observers will have different observing results and observing reports. The special relativity states everything that can cause different in results .

For example :

If we have a truck moving uniformly in a straight line (v=40m/s). in the truck back someone are playing baseball (v ball =150m/s). one of the observer is measuring the speed of baseball from a piece of ground near the truck while one more is measuring the speed of baseball from the back of truck and is moving with the truck. What is the result that the observers may get ? give the reason in a simple way!

If we see from observer 1 in the ground , he might get the result ofit may conclude Obsever 1 will calculate the speed of baseball + speed of truck ( Baseball is relative to the truck).

Observer B will see the baseball moving only 150m/s as observer b is relative to the truck so it calculates only the speed of the ball not the truck + the ball.
Conclusion: Different observer may cause Different Result

THE HIV virus

HIV virus

The hiv virus have been troubling doctors and scientists for years . they have been finding its medicine for years, but all they found is deactivator of that virus . the deactivator only deactivates all visible  hiv viruses not the one in cell . so to understand WHY? We need to know more about hiv first

WHAT IS HIV?
HIV virus is virus that attacks the human immune system mainly cell t . Cell t activates the other immune system so if cell t is inactive ,the immune system will be unavailable for war which make the patient easily suffer other disease. AIDS, the disease that HIV causes is very dangerous for every living thing as it destroy the immune system

How it attack
it attack the cell t , turns its RNA into DNA then when the cell t duplicates, it duplicates too so the more the hiv virus are in the body then it slowly eats the cell t from inside and destroy the cell . This happen until the system of immune is completely destroyed.

How it transfer
It transfer through blood contact with the patient such as : use of same needle, blood transfusion , etc.

How to prevent
To prevent it , we need to stop using the same needle , doing blood contact with people who suffer , etc.

How to cure

Until now there is no way to cure but there is a way to deactivate it , using LIMFOMA (a type of medicine used in khemotherapy) the Hiv virus was forced to get out of the cell t and deactivated by one more type of medicine  although it only deactivates , its good enough than dead without curing.

the Ebola virus disease

The Ebola virus

The Ebola Virus was first found at Sudan and Congo in the 1976. The virus name is based on the Ebola river name located in Sudan and Congo. This virus have been silent for long time before it suddenly rises and create plague in the west African countries now.
This virus was identified first on fruit eating bats from the family pteropodidae and after a lot of observation and research by scientists , this bat is identified as the natural carrier
Of the Ebola virus . This virus is also found on gorillas , antelopes ,and porcupine.

Signs and symtoms
In the first fase  usually the virus shows the symptom of:

1.intestines area              :               diarrhea
2.stomach                           :                pain, vomiting
3.muscle                              :               weakness, aches
4.chest                                 :               chest pains
5. head                                 :               headache,red eyes
6.joints                                 :               aches

Treatment, vaccines ,and medicine for Ebola virus
Actually there is no specific treatment for  patient suffering Ebola but some liquid or something like that is given to the patient to extend their life. No vaccines is made for this virus
As this virus plague isn’t troubling people so much in the past.  No medicine have been made to cure this virus.

History of Ebola virus

In the early years of the discovery , this virus doesn’t really bugged the scientists to made some medicines or encourage people to stop this virus from spreading. Then the African people keep continue to
Consume bats of the family pteropodidae  and the get Ebola virus disease so then and so . but now in 2014 this virus have plague the west African countries and this make them started to do some prevention.

DATA

Name                    :               ebola
Type                      :               RNA virus
Source                  :               bats of the family pteropodidae

Attacks                 :               almost all part of our body

Stroke

stroke is the narrowing of the arteries towards the brain that causes the oxygen to be undelivered to the brain which cause the brain to be lack of oxygen and ruin all nerves system that leads to death of the people who suffer stroke.

Stroke people must be handle quickly by professionals otherwise he/she will die or be in comma that leads to death

If the patient survive then it will be very hard to return normal as his nerves system have been ruined . It need years of retrain to reroute the nerves system

hearth attack

Heart attack is caused by the narrowing of corronary artery vessel which transports food to the heart. This narrowing causes the food supply to the heart become stopped and when the supply stops the heart that is lack of energy stop pumping and lead he/she to death.

If a people get heart attack the possibility to keep alive is only around 10% although they are handelled by the professional .

Atomic power

atom , i guess you have known what is atom but if you haven't know let me tell you.

Atom is the smallest part of every object , 2 or more atom made up molecules . Atom are made up of kuarks .

Atomic power , its just an itsy bitsy thing is it very strong?

Eg. Nuclear is made up of just.      Uranium and plutonium but it can blow hiroshima .

So atom do have big powers eh?

According to Einstein even things with small mass could have very big energy . Just like the formula

E=MC square

Nuclear have big power because the uranium was impact by neutron that produce 3 neutron , barium and kripton . This process happened over and over until it produces lots of atom that can blow up the whole city .

Ecology

Ecology

Ecology (from Greek: οἶκος, "house"; -λογία, "study of") is the scientific study of interactions among organisms and their environment, such as the interactions organisms have with each other and with their abioticenvironment. Topics of interest to ecologists include the diversity, distribution, amount (biomass), number (population) of organisms, as well as competition between them within and among ecosystems. Ecosystems are composed of dynamically interacting parts including organisms, the communities they make up, and the non-living components of their environment. Ecosystem processes, such as primary production, pedogenesisnutrient cycling, and various niche construction activities, regulate the flux of energy and matter through an environment. These processes are sustained by organisms with specific life history traits, and the variety of organisms is called biodiversity. Biodiversity, which refers to the varieties of speciesgenes, and ecosystems, enhances certain ecosystem services.
Ecology is an interdisciplinary field that includes biology and Earth science. The word "ecology" ("Ökologie") was coined in 1866 by the German scientist Ernst Haeckel (1834–1919). Ancient Greek philosophers such asHippocrates and Aristotle laid the foundations of ecology in their studies on natural history. Modern ecology transformed into a more rigorous science in the late 19th century. Evolutionary concepts on adaptation andnatural selection became cornerstones of modern ecological theory. Ecology is not synonymous with environment, environmentalism, natural history, or environmental science. It is closely related to evolutionary biology, genetics, and ethology. An understanding of how biodiversity affects ecological function is an important focus area in ecological studies. Ecologists seek to explain:
  • Life processes, interactions and adaptations
  • The movement of materials and energy through living communities
  • The successional development of ecosystems, and
  • The abundance and distribution of organisms and biodiversity in the context of the environment.
Ecology is a human science as well. There are many practical applications of ecology in conservation biology, wetland management, natural resource management (agroecologyagricultureforestryagroforestry, fisheries), city planning (urban ecology), community healtheconomicsbasic and applied science, and human social interaction (human ecology). For example, the Circles of Sustainability approach treats ecology as more than the environment 'out there'. It is not treated as separate from humans. Organisms (including humans) and resources compose ecosystems which, in turn, maintain biophysical feedback mechanisms that moderate processes acting on living (biotic) and nonliving (abiotic) components of the planet. Ecosystems sustain life-supporting functions and produce natural capital like biomass production (food, fuel, fiber and medicine), the regulation of climate, global biogeochemical cycleswater filtrationsoil formation, erosion control, flood protection and many other natural features of scientific, historical, economic, or intrinsic value.

EVOLUTION THEORY

Evolution is the change in the inherited characteristics of biological populations over successive generations. Evolutionary processes give rise to diversity at every level of biological organisation, including speciesindividual organisms and molecules such as DNA and proteins.[1]
All life on Earth is descended from a last universal ancestor that lived approximately 3.8 billion years ago. Repeated speciation and the divergence of life can be inferred from shared sets of biochemical and morphological traits, or by shared DNA sequences.[2] These homologous traits and sequences are more similar among species that share a more recent common ancestor, and can be used to reconstruct evolutionary histories, using both existing species and the fossil record. Existing patterns of biodiversity have been shaped both by speciation and by extinction.[3]
Charles Darwin was the first to formulate a scientific argument for the theory of evolution by means ofnatural selection. Evolution by natural selection is a process inferred from three facts about populations: 1) more offspring are produced than can possibly survive, 2) traits vary among individuals, leading to different rates of survival and reproduction, and 3) trait differences are heritable.[4]Thus, when members of a population die they are replaced by the progeny of parents betteradapted to survive and reproduce in the environment in which natural selection takes place. This process creates and preserves traits that are seemingly fitted for the functional roles they perform.[5] Natural selection is the only known cause of adaptation, but not the only known cause of evolution. Other, nonadaptive causes of evolution include mutation andgenetic drift.[6]
In the early 20th century, genetics was integrated with Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection through the discipline of population genetics. The importance of natural selection as a cause of evolution was accepted into other branches of biology. Moreover, previously held notions about evolution, such as orthogenesis and "progress" became obsolete.[7] Scientists continue to study various aspects of evolution by forming and testing hypotheses, constructing scientific theories, using observational data, and performing experiments in both the field and the laboratory. Biologists agree that descent with modification is one of the most reliably established facts in science.[8] Discoveries in evolutionary biology have made a significant impact not just within the traditional branches of biology, but also in other academic disciplines (e.g., anthropology and psychology) and on society at large.[9][10]

Radium , cancer killer radiator

Radium, maybe this name is still weird for you actually it is a type of radioactive material created from Uranium.

RAdium created by curie couple which are both chemistry proffessor , they created 0.1 g Radium with 100kg of Uranium but after it the sell those Radium with a cheap price and help people who suffer from cancer heal .

Radium has a very high radioactive , it kills the cancer tumor  by only a hit of its radioactive because of the invention of this they got the noble prize in chemistry.

now Radium is used to heal people that suffer cancers through its radiation , although it has some side effects but it is still used by many people to heal cancer.

Stealth Technology

Radar was a new and deadly enemy that discovered by USA for intercepting Soviet's aircraft on World War II . Therefore, Soviet think to make an invisible aircraft. Then Soviet had make an invisible aircraft, that invisbile aircraft can be seen by our own eyes BUT that aircraft is invisible for radar to detect it!
You guys might wonder how to make that 'invisible' aircraft. Well, actually that 'invisible' wasn't the type of name for the aircraft. Actually the name is 'stealth', yes it was stealth. Stealth plane or sort of stealth aircraft can't been detected by any types of radar and even any angle of it.
Hmm... Sounds interesting huh? Well, let us discuss about how it works. The first thing I want to says about the stealth aircraft is the radar cross section is really-really small compared to normall aircraft and even compared to a Church bird. Stealth aircraft have potential to absorb most of the radar waves, so that the waves doesn't bounce back to the radar. Steath aircraft was design perfectly to absorb most of the radar waves. If you feels confused, grab a nearest paper and look it from the edge of the paper, that is how stealth technology works!

That is today's topic about stealth aircraft  hope you like it and don't forget to rate us! Thanks for visiting

Could we be wrong about speed of light?

A challenge has been thrown down to the consistency of the speed of light, based on an anomaly from the most closely observed supernova of all time.
In 1987 astronomers witnessed the only supernova in 400 years close enough to Earth to see with the naked eye. The first hint of the event came not from telescopes, but neutrino detectors.
Neutrinos and photons were assumed to have crossed space between the Large Magellanic Cloud and us at the speed of light. However, light does not always travel at 3x108 m/s. Just as glass or water will slow light down, the dense core of a supernova is expected to impede photons so that neutrinos will reach us first.
Models of supernovae suggest the delay should be about three hours. However, rather than witnessing a single burst of neutrinos three hours before the first light was observed, detectors picked up two bursts, one 7.7 hours earlier, and the other 4.7 hours. Some models of supernovae predict two collapses, and thus two rounds of neutrinos, but the timing is puzzling since it is the first round that should beat the light by three hours.
Professor James Franson of the University of Maryland, Baltimore, believes that these observations require a rewrite of light's behavior. He claims that quantum mechanical effects slow light down under certain circumstances. The effect is very, very small, but over a distance of 163,000 light years could account for the discrepancy in observations.
In the New Journal of Physics, Franson draws on vacuum polarization, a well established phenomenon where a photon of light sometimes turns into an electron-positron pair. These then recombine to become a photon again, traveling along the same path, but after a tiny delay (see diagram).
However, Franson argues that these events are not random, but affected by gravitational fields.
"Roughly speaking, the gravitational potential changes the energy of a virtual electron-positron pair, which in turn produces a small change in the energy of a photon,” Franson says. “This results in a small correction to the angular frequency of a photon and thus its velocity.” He describes the equivalent effects on neutrinos as “negligibly small in comparison”.
If Franson is right gravitational fields, particularly from the center of the galaxy, would have slowed photons down by the required amount. “The predictions of this model are in reasonable agreement with the experimental observations from Supernova 1987a, in which the first neutrinos arrived 7.7 hours before the first photons,” Franson says.
The alternative explanation is that the second neutrino burst was the one triggered at the same time as the original release of light. Even if the delay was 4.7 hours, rather than three, the puzzle of the earlier neutrino flurry remains. Directional detection of neutrinos is very poor, so some astronomers have assumed that these neutrinos were a coincidence, originating from some other source. Franson claims the probability of such a chance event is 1 in 10,000.

The MEGA EARTH

Scientists found a rock planet in this universe that looks like the earth. It is made up of rock and has approximately 20 times the diameter of Earth. Scientists said this planet cannot be true having a great size and made up of rock . However truth says that it really happens.

Sleep paralysis

Sleep paralysis was a syndrome that happened to be very spooky. just think when a people have a demon like creature etc. stepping on his chest and when he wanted to scream but nothing gone out of his mouth.

sleep paralysis or sleep apnea happened because of not enough sleep or sleep defisiensy . This happened when your body is too tired that the transition from REM (rapid eye movement ) sleep to NREM( no rapid eye movement ) sleep is not normal that it produce that image .

this paralysis happens during people are aged around 14-17 . this can happen twice even three times. usually it happens on those ages and the adults twice a year.
When you have sleep paralysis ,it shows that you need more sleep so try monitoring your sleep schedule the next week and try to get more sleep.

Tree shaping 1

As you have known shaping a tree could be hard to do but when you see the result it is extraordinary.

How to shape:

1.pruning

pruning tree is a good idea for a good tree shape like the first picture down there this technic is not very hard to be done too.

2.grafting

This technic is not very easy to be done and only certain plant can be grafted . Plants that can be grafted are only dicotyledons plants .

If you ask why ? It is because of dicotyledons plants' cambium . On plants with cambium their phloem and xylem is neatly tidied but on monocotyledons plant their xylem and phloem is not neatly tidied so it cannot be grafted.photo is the second one on down there
